I have always had a deep interest in art, drawing and painting since I was a small child. I studied painting and illustration formally at the Rochester Institute of Technology. After graduating with a BFA , I seized the great opportunity to work at Gallery Picture Framing in Rochester NY. Preparing artwork archivally for galleries and museums. All the while continuing to paint and develop my skills.It was at this time I discovered a passion for painting landscapes'en pleine aire', and returned to painting and drawing from still lifes. I find it very satisfying when I am able to capture the essence of objects and places to convey mood or feeling. Whether it is with brush or with pencil, pastel or ink, it is always a challenge, and that is what makes it well worth the effort. \ I am presently the head Framer for Framework and sell my work from our downtown Saratoga Springs gallery.
